Power of Mother Nature

If you stop and think about all of the wonderful things nature has to offer, it can be mind-numbing. From the skies above to the ground below, there is always something to look at no matter where you are located. I was out walking with my camera and shot this photo passed sunset in the west end of Billings, Montana. Only after I took the photo and really studied it did I realize the power it has, at least in my eyes. To think all of what has to happen to for those clouds to be the way they are and the location and size of the trees on the horizon. The factors in the creation of everything on earth is endless and I believe most people take that for granted, including me. Photography allows me to slow down and appreciate the world just a little more and allows me to see beauty in some things that I would ordinarily never find beauty in. Furthermore, I do not like to take photo into post processing because in my opinion it takes out the validity of the photo. In the about photograph, I wish I had a longer shutter speed and a tripod to compensate to allow as much light as possible into my camera to brighten up the black shadows. However, I have learned next time that I need to do more research on how to take a photgraph like this before I go out and just go fir it.
